For the young and young at heart, a wide variety of activities and places of interest are available within a brief walk or a short drive. Downtown Old Orchard Beach, just steps from your beachfront unit, has its famous pier, shops and various entertainment facilities such as Palace Playland, Pirates Cove Miniature Golf, many restaurants, as well as fun night clubs with dancing and entertainment. You’ll enjoy viewing the downtown fireworks display on the beach near the pier every Thursday night in season right from your veranda or our private beach around a wood fire pit.

Also nearby, at either end of the beach, are Pine Point and Camp Ellis, which feature quaint, working waterfronts and lobster pounds with excellent seafood restaurants close by. Deep-sea fishing, tall ship sailing and whale watching charters are available.

The best golfing in Maine is available right here in Old Orchard Beach at the Dune Grass Golf and Country Club. Funtown/Splashtown, the Aquaboggan Water Theme Park with a mountain of gushing water and every imaginable way to cool off in the summer heat, is a short 10 minute drive away. Terrific picnic facilities are featured in neighboring Scarborough along with great biking and hiking on the scenic Eastern Trail. Two beachfront State Parks offer family picnic areas, nature walks, bicycle path, and beach facilities. Enjoy parasailing, scooters, jet skis, paddle boards and bicycle rentals.

Discover the local fauna at the Scarborough Marsh Nature Center where you can rent a canoe or kayak and leisurely paddle your way through a maze of waterways in Maine’s largest saltwater marsh. Shopping at great outlets and the ever-popular LL Bean retail store in Freeport is an easy drive just north of Portland.
